Dr. Viet was a National Physics Olympiad holder and subsequently awarded the prestigious NGS scholarship (NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering, National University of Singapore) to pursue his doctorate study in 2009. He has over 16 years research experience in advanced & smart materials, soft/composite materials including organogels & hydrogels, nano/micro structures and microneedles for drug delivery and diagnostic, as well as 3D printing for transdermal & oral delivery. He has also been enrolled in multiple start-up incubation and technology acceleration programs in Singapore and Silicon Valley, California, US. He has rich experience in product development, manufacturing, technology innovation & acceleration, business development, and fundraising.
He has founded Nusmetics Pte. Ltd. – A BioPharma Company specialized in advanced drug delivery systems for enhanced drug efficacy and simplified drug formulation. Nusmetics is the only company offering active “micro needle” ingredients mixable with skincare, healthcare and drug formulation (just like “adding sugar into tea formulation”) to enhance active and drug absorption up to 10 times faster and 1000 times higher.
