Nguyen The Trung is a pioneering leader with over 20 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Education, specializing in digital transformation, STEM education, AI, and Digital Twin technology. He is the Founder & CEO of Pythaverse PTE. LTD., dedicated to advancing digital learning technologies to equip students with essential skills for the AI era.
Before founding Pythaverse, Mr. Trung served as Chairman of DTT Technology Group, one of Vietnam’s leading ICT firms specializing in e-Government solutions, IoT, and STEM education. He played a crucial role in implementing Vietnam’s e-Government systems, including the National e-Government Master Plan, Government Enterprise Architecture, and policies on digital identity, data sharing, and online administration.
Additionally, from 2018 to 2021, he served as an advisor to the Minister on e-Government and digital transformation strategies, contributing to the development of Resolution 17 on e-Government and other critical policies. He also led the Vietnam iKnowledge project and was a member of the National COVID-19 Committee, earning the Prime Minister’s Award for his contributions.
In education, he has been a pioneer in promoting STEM and AI education, developing learning tools like Leanbot and TwinSpace, which have benefited over 50,000 students across Southeast Asia. He is also the author of key strategic papers, including the *Pythaverse CoCreate Learning Framework* and *Navigating the AI Era*.
With a strong academic background, Mr. Trung graduated with First Class Honors in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He is also a keynote speaker at international conferences such as the Sydney Dialogue 2023, World Bank ICT Forums, and digital transformation summits by the OECD and ADB.
